Dr. Tia Thomas
Dr. Thomas grew up in Valdosta, GA where she attended Valdosta State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Afterwards, she attended the Medical College of Georgia where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007. Dr. Thomas has proudly served the community of Austell since 2011.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Hinman Dental Society, North Georgia Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society, and the Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Thomas is a strong advocate of comprehensive dental care and believes teeth should not only be beautiful but healthy as well. She completes several continuing education courses each year in order to provide her patients the highest standard of care. Her greatest reward comes from bonding with patients while transforming smiles utilizing Six Month Braces, Periodontal Therapy, and Implant Restorations.
In her free time, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and participating in personal fitness.
Dr. Ross Levine
Dr. Ross Levine grew up nearby in Alpharetta, Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree with highest honors from Georgia Tech, his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Georgia Regents University College of Dental Medicine (formerly MCG), and completed his residency in general dentistry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with an emphasis on cosmetic, digital, and sports dentistry.
While attending GRU/MCG, Dr. Levine co-founded Dentists for Della, a nationally recognized oral care program for war veterans at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. He also received the Geriatric Dentistry Award for excellence in knowledge and service to the geriatric population. Dr. Levine was inducted into the Alpha Upsilon Phi Honors Society for leadership and philanthropic service to the Medical College of Georgia. During his time in Ann Arbor, Dr. Levine was a team dentist for the University of Michigan Wolverines hockey team. In addition, he has been a dental screener at the Special Olympics and treasurer for the Give-A-Smile Foundation.
Dr. Levine is an active member of several dental organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, He serves on the young professional board of ORT, a non-profit that offers skills and training to impoverished communities. Dr. Levine enjoys a wide variety of hobbies including traveling, skiing, tennis, and kickball. He loves live music and is a fan of Georgia Tech football.
Dr. McKenzie
Dr. McKenzie grew up in Lawrenceville, GA and began her journey in dentistry by earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Dental College of Georgia. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and is credentialed with the American Association of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) for Botox and Dermal Fillers.
Dr. McKenzie’s practicing philosophy is treating every patient like they are a family member. She strives to always provide a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for every patient. Dr. McKenzie is fluent in Spanish and can help Spanish speaking patients in their visit if needed. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys oil paintings, traveling and long outdoor walks.
